I would bet that lifelong Sequim Communist Timothy Wheeler is involved. This is the kind of stuff he loves to do. It's just a hunch, but he is heavily involved in the Sequim Good Governance League, which is a Communist group of troublemakers, in my opinion. They seem to get in the way of everything decent people want.
I rest my case! There seems to be a global Communist uprising opposing anything sane, and promoting things like destruction of dams, defunding of police departments, hamstringing police, prosecuting victims of crime while the perpetrators go free, and so on. Destroying society is their goal because they believe that when things get bad enough, we will be begging government to "do something" and they will gladly usher in a Communist government.
Oh no!! So we all need to get ourselves out there and share share and share what we know about these people so more of our community is aware. Guarantee they will be lying there teeth off to get elected. Just like their letter!
For District One? I've enjoyed my conversations with Sarah Kincaid and Bill Benedict (former sheriff) ... both seem "common sense" to me. I'm afraid I haven't crossed paths yet with Huntington, Charters, Fisch, or Fane.
I can recommend Christine Charters District 1 & Kathy Walde in another district, they are running to make change for reasonable development and their time to do so is very much appreciated.

Spreading lies and false innuendos to sway people so they can have their trail, when safety people, fire and sheriffs department have already said that without that road it takes them longer to reach people who live farther north from the town Road area and what we had a warehouse burn down because it took the fire department to get to that area they could’ve saved how they been able to go through the town road. These people need to be educated and Tax firs who are who are not liking what they’re doing. Need to stand up for what’s right we need to put them in their place. I’m behind. Anybody wants to go for that.
Minutes matter when oxygen is deprived from the brain, period! That is science! 5 minutes means life or death, period. Those people don’t care because it doesn’t directly affect anyone they love, if it did they would be singing a different tune.
Did they cry foul play when the tribe (friend to DLTA) put in their bid to build the road after adamantly objecting to it? How hypocritical can they all be?
Of course not, not a single peep about a multi million dollar county project to their friends. I remember they spoke at board meeting about the Company possibly being a compromised contractor.
The Tribe and DTLA are causing and have caused numerous expenditures by the County Taxpayers since the inception of the Towne Road fiasco. It was, is and will remain Towne Road. If the nature lovers want a park, they should build it and the Tribe should build it for free. It won’t be too long before the road is reopened to the public and the one landowners private driveway will be their responsibility to maintain. If the Tribe hadn’t purposefully breach the levee this project would have been completed many needless months ago.
I’m still betting on bodies laying in the dirt in front of the dozers. Any wagers? 🤗. And I’m not a gambler.
Although I really appreciate DLTA listing all the people I will be writing to congratulate for doing such a wonderful job wading through all the BS to get this project completed and saving tax payer money rather than continuing to drag this project out another 3 years like DLTA and JST want to do. As I drive all over this county & others I marvel at the roadways and how any of them could exist based on the far reaching requirements enacted on a .06 mile section of roadway. How utterly stupid in the scheme of it all! Utterly stupid people would buy in. So will Towne Road set a presidence going forward for every county road? I sure hope not but it’s now a possibility it will.
As much as I enjoyed the roadless version of the dike project for one of my walking routes and would have preferred that it remain so, I appreciated reading about the background of the Towne Road project and Jeff's research into communications that took place. I get it.
My leisurely pursuits should not overide the wish of a majority of local residents and the documented original objectives of the project approved by elected officials.
When the project objectives become a moving target determined by unelected entities operating through less than transparent channels, it's time to shine some light on the arguments.

If it's Alex Fane he was a huge supporter/volunteer for SGGL and good friend of Timothy Wheeler. He's also on the Planning Commission, among others.

The tribe doesn't build anything for free, most is paid for by us via grants (taxpayer $$).
