“History shows that over a long period of time government will spend whatever the tax system raises plus as much more as it can get away with”.
This is where we are at and it won’t end until we all stand up and do something about it.
I grew up on the island of Maui in the town of Lahaina.
I watched this exact drama play out over the decades, of the working class families fighting tooth and nail to keep what was rightfully theirs against mega corporations and the billionaire predator class.
Fighting for water rights, a hospital, an updated power grid, the underfunded roads, the underfunded schools, the ancient sewage water treatment system.
Eventually the people lost because they put their trust in a system that never cared about them.
The entire town burned to the ground because the bureaucrats turned a blind eye to the real problems and sided instead with profit and the oligarchs.
The same thing is playing out here in Sequim and you will lose just like the good people of Lahaina did unless more people unite together and stop this horrific trajectory we are all on.
They are diseased. Addicted. Power hungry and never satiated….. the side effect is money and it’s manipulation, a little slips in the pockets here and there… greasing the palms juicing the ego and we end up with Washington state and Clallam county, turning blue because it’s has choke hold on us.
Stories like yours are chilling. We hear from others who came from other countries and share their stories of "government-gone-wild" that when told are dismissed by many because they are inconvenient to hear.
This likely won't be the last time I say this, but what government is doing as of late is fulfilling the God-given obligation to take care of oneself. Some know this as Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Once those are met then we're off to la-la land which is where we are heading. It's a form of slavery in my opinion to take away the essence of what it is to be a human being, but people are lining up and voted for those who will give them the most.
Wow, Jeff, it just keeps getting better and better! Thank you for your drive and diligence. It's a big machine we are faced with. Seems like a supernatural intervention would be helpful. I don't know for sure that's a 'thing' but maybe it's just the effect of awakening consciousness that shifts reality.
Blessings to all who are participating in the call for Truth, Justice, Liberty!
It is NOW incumbent upon "us" (the local taxpayers & residents) to remove these failures that we have in our current governmental system, regardless of what they now say or do, so that we can replace them with good, honorable & trustworthy Individuals who will do the right thing for all in our community without betraying us by selling us out to the criminally corrupt special interest Individuals and/or groups~! If our subsequent investigations indicate that these current Individuals in our governmental system have committed ANY crimes, we absolutely must see that they are criminally prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law~! When considering the replacements of these Individuals who have grossly failed the public trust, instead of choosing Individuals who have experience in government positions, usually robbing the taxpayers blind, we must now choose Individuals of the highest honor who will perform as the will of the people dictates without question~! We need very strong Individuals in government who are not afraid to stand up for our freedoms, rights, and best interests first and foremost~! Thanks again to Jeff Tozzer for another revealing article that every local resident should be aware of and take seriously~! Today, is always the best day to make positive changes for tomorrow~! Happy Thanksgiving to all~! Sincerely, Mike
The PA Food Bank, which I thoroughly respect and believe still runs as a true non-profit, will see even more activity as increases are passed up the line. People living on fixed income are not easily absorbing the increases that are hitting every area.....insurance, rent, transportation, but at least they still have access to food. Unfortunately, they don't have access to a free dog washing station they are paying for.
When elected officials prove to be incapable of making rational economical decisions they need to be impeached or voted out asap before tax burdening the public to cover their wasteful spending. My guess is tax rates will continue to rise as long as current wreckless officials are in office and will most likely vote for raises for themselves for doing wasteful spending habits.
First off I want to truly give a big THANK YOU to Jeff for caring enough about our community by devoting his time to providing the residents of Clallam County FACTUA; information about what is going on in our town. It has been truly eye opening and now is the time for us to put our differences aside, unite and demand answers, transparency and accountability for the many issues ( Dungeness River Reservoir, Humane Society Investigation?, Corrupt Commissioner, Towne Road, just to name a few) that are happening in our community.
So my question is : Are we doing anything in response to the issues we are now aware that are going on? If not why aren't we? It seems to me that there is more power in numbers and it is the only way that our voices will be heard. There are a lot more of us than there are of them.
Here’s another good saying from Milton Freedman.

I really like the quote, but I hate what happened to your hometown.

You're welcome, Robert.
Why does a dog lick its privates? Because it can. Same answer applies to the spendthrift miscreants.
Thank you for the exposé, Jeff. You Rock! Tozzer for County Commissioner! NOI for executioner of the non-compliant. :-)
Thanks for that visual, love it!
Money is power. Spending is fun. And best of all it's not their money. Spend away and tax until you get all you need.

With my minimal observation at this point, it seems that the tribe should be paying for a major
portion now plus all the acquiring of county land that will have a huge affect on the city and county
soon and in the future. I see the need for a properly shared burden here. With the current 'machine'
as Robert addressed, it won't happen unless the 'thing' comes sooner, not later.
The event cabal didn't even have to show up. They knew it was in the bag..

You're welcome, Julie. It sure seems like people are becoming more aware, and meeting attendance is up.
Too much mon"k"ey business
