Jeff, you are hands down my favorite character to follow. Keep up the good work and see you Saturday.

From a leader, that's quite a compliment.

False advertising? So very rude to treat your neighbors with contempt instead of being kind and open. Thank you, Jeff, for attending the DLTA event in the rain. Stay healthy.

This seems to fall in the category of, "Be careful what you ask for (input) you just might get it".

Wish it had been live streamed! Classic - you can just keep walking.

Where did all the bark come from? Was that authorized by Ozias, paid for by tax payers? Again, desperate people do desperate things. I recall the bench that was placed out there on this section & had to be removed…..are these people Antifa? Looks like what Antifa did when they set up shop in downtown Seattle to me, will there be signs going up next like “CHOP” or “Love Fest”?

Pepai, The Bark has been there for some time. It was placed there last summer as part of some levee maintenance and erosion repair.

This is sadly no real surprise. I guess if you don't drink the kool-aid, you can't play with the school crossing guards which are there for exactly what John W. said - window dressing.

I walked on the ODT very early this morning, where it crosses from the Railroad Bridge trail over E. Runyon and along Sawmill. That has a 35 mph speed limit (Sawmill). The trail that is marked is less than 6 ft wide. There is no curb between the trail and the road. I never felt like I was in danger. Perhaps some of these people have problems walking a straight line and staying within a marked area? IDK what else the problem could be. And the Towne Road speed limit will be 25 mph. Huh. These people are dug in tighter than ticks on a dog. They can't see their own hypocrisy.

Check the website? The one that is filled with conspiracy theories (about bullying people who show up to open BoCC meetings because it's a right?) and scientific data that they don't read. They're poisoning our river more than this tiny stretch of mitigated road ever will. F-idiotic.

Questions spring to mind:

That Kawasaki vehicle that is licensed to be on the road and that is driven through wetlands and around/through creeks was on the levee road? Surely it shed a ton of 6PPD-q but it's ok because why? Also, Mr. Eberle has egress and ingress to get to/from his property while the road is closed but does he have the right to just randomly park his road licensed vehicle on our tax-payer funded road whenever he'd like? Why can't I do the same then?

Did they have a permit/license to solicit on a county thoroughfare? I'm sure they would have taken donations if you offered. And also setting up a shelter like that. Isn't that vagrancy? I would imagine the county requires some sort of permit for solicitation even if you claim you are representing a "charitable non profit" organization.

They are providing more fodder for complaints to the state about how this is a deceptive non-profit that has only one goal in mind. It's not to keep 6PPD-q from our wetlands, streams, creeks and rivers. It's to keep a road closed for a few private parties and for a neighborhood that prefers less traffic.

For those of you that can afford it (gas and all) I think it's time to start driving South Towne Road on a regular basis, even just to stop in at the creamery and buy a pint or two of their ice cream. Think of it as helping them adapt. They need to get used to seeing the traffic come back through there before the road opens, don't you think?

I parked for a time and watched residents come off Forest Ridge and Madrona Terrace onto Towne Road. They have become so unaccustomed to traffic that they don't stop before entering Towne and barely cast a glance northward. When traffic returns, I see how accidents may happen from those residents not stopping to look for traffic.

All the more reason to help them adapt to the reopening of Towne Road? It's a community service and a safety concern. Let's start a non profit and collect donations for it. 🤷‍♂️

Hi... my question is why are they fighting so hard for this? Are they being encouraged or promised more of something? I mean they are spending some $$$ here and can’t be this stupid not to realize the paper trail. This is still a small town they will have to live in... hope they like pie... you know that humble one!

I think they need some more window dressing. :)
