The breaching the dike ahead of schedule demonstrates a blatant disregard for the financial impact on Clallam County. The Tribe’s decision, which was clearly made without proper coordination or transparency, has cost the County millions of dollars—funds that we simply do not have in a time when our budget is already stressed. This disregard for the larger public impact is unacceptable. It appears as though the Tribe acted unilaterally, breaching the dike without sufficient regard for the consequences to the community or the County’s ability to manage the project. The financial burden created by their actions is a breach of trust, and the Tribe should be held liable for the significant additional costs they imposed on the County. The Tribe’s evasiveness in response to public inquiries only compounds the issue. As a sovereign nation, the Tribe may not be bound by the same laws as the County, but this does not absolve them from responsibility when their actions harm the larger community. Moving forward, we must consider this breach of trust in future dealings. Projects like these require open communication, transparency and accountability. From my perspective, the County deserves reimbursement for the unnecessary costs incurred due to the Tribe’s actions. If this happened to anyone else, there would be lawsuits and fines to compensate for the damage as well as send a message that ensures "partners" in a project don't make unilateral decisions that burden the public.

In the real world, outside of Sequim and outside of the Tribe, if anyone had a project go this off course, time and money, no one would do business with this partner again, RIGHT? Who in their right mind would go back for more lack of communication, over runs, and rip offs, NO ONE THATS WHO. Yet our County government continues to reward the very group that has cost our County millions and millions of dollars! WHY? That should be the current question & it should affect everything currently in progress, don’t you think? I DO! But it very obviously doesn’t…..reservoir, oyster farms, management of the Spit (oh right, it’s the Fed’s, have our county officials made any contacts? I guarantee the answer is “no”. Why not? They should it’s our County and it’s their job). 😡

Why is a sovereign and corrupt foreign nation making major decisions about our local government? Oh, yeah, the same reason foreign governments are interfering with our national elections and our businesses...just like the U.S. gov't has done to numerous nations around the world for well over 200 years.

While we were busy thinking we were part of an enlightened society doing good in the world...'saving democracy' (mob rule) our gov't and numerous governmental and non-governmental 'agencies' were very busy corrupting other countries and nation-states.

Hate to say it folks, I'm a conservative -patriot- constitutionalist...in other words an enemy of the state...but you can't tell me I don't see what I see or that my comments are anything but pointing to the truth. The chickens come home to roost eventually, except those who escape or are killed or imprisoned along the way.

Complacent Godlessness reaps its own rewards and eventually the god of this world has its way because we are too stupid to follow the Golden Rule. I know it's a downer to point this out but pretending it is something else is just not real. We are the 'New Roman Empire' in an advanced state of collapse while frantically trying to solve problems with technology and printing and 'borrowing' vast amounts of 'capital'.

I am grateful that we 'won' Towne Road back but that is one small victory compared to what 'they' have planned for us. We will have to have the kind of dedication that Jeff Tozzer is displaying to make a difference but it is a steep uphill battle because our common enemy is deeply entrenched in all our systems. Klaus Schwab said it plainly, 'we INFILTRATE local governments', by appointing and paying off and 'selecting' 'agents' of change. The worst of it is they have the Judiciary controlled for the most part so any legal avenues are going to be extremely difficult to negotiate let alone expensive. Bar attorneys work for 'The Crown', not for 'The People'. George Soros' financially backed judges and prosecuting attorneys are not enforcing our 'laws'. They don't have to overturn laws, they just have to override and ignore them to create chaos and unrest. Over 800,000 laws on our books because we don't follow the Golden Rule (collectively)...say la vie.

'They' also control the media...most print and most radio and most alt-media as well. We are pretty much exactly where the founders were in the 1770's but we don't have just one monarchy to overcome like then. We are looking at 'Globalization 3.0' or higher. (See U.N. Agenda 21, 30, 50, etc.) There is no probable way this is going to be any kind of smooth, lawful, open process at this point. FIGHT!, FIGHT!, FIGHT!... but I'm kind of old and tired and only have so much fight in me these days...can't even keep up with the yard work it seems.

Blessings to all, sorry about the rant...do what you can...make peace in your mind and heart...prepare for a tumultuous and uncertain future. God Bless. 🙏🏼

My great-grandmother, who lived in this house, was half German (or "Colonizer," according to Commissioner Ozias). She could have eaten Klaus Schwab for breakfast.

Thanks Gayle...I know it probably makes little difference to express these things and It can feel pretty hopeless but I'd rather suffer the pain of enlightenment than the pain of ignorance...and the only thing I can really do about it (besides getting enraged...not too helpful) is be grateful I still have a mind and can (hopefully) discern right from wrong and also practice acceptance of what is playing out with loving concern and equanimity. Maybe that's all there is to do. Love, Light, Truth, Justice, Liberty🤔

With regards to the "selected alternative": It's funny how the tribe is all about taking land back that was 'stolen' from them, yet they wouldn't think twice about their neighbors when considering "acquisition of property". If it suits their purpose, a 'land grab' is just fine.

Excellent post, as always! I am very impressed, Cub Reporter Jeff, how you asked follow up questions. That skill is lacking in all media anymore. Ron Allen's reply "he was unaware" was like Freddy Kruger nails on a chalk board - you know the cringe is coming. It still bothers me that so much could have been more easily resolved had Ron Allen and Mark Ozias been transparent and honest. Why bury emails and documents from 2013?

That's a great follow-up question, too.

Another gem, Jeff! Thank you!

You wrote, "The Tribe may have achieved its decade-long goal, but they didn’t account for something: The people who had paid for the road became activated. "

More accurately, they didn't account for Jeff Tozzer to lead the people to fight for completion of the road. You have more energy and focus than most of us. This would not have happened had it not been for you and your tenacity. I read people's comments here-- most are good people and just as pissed off as any of us. The difference is that you DID something about it while we just bitch and moan. You are an inspiration, and I sure hope you continue your blog here as the malfeasance you've exposed is surely just the tip of the iceberg.

THANK YOU on behalf of all the people who can now enjoy Towne Road. It really should be named after you!

Those are very kind words, NOI. We should all thank Gayle Baker. She said she would buy me dinner if Towne Road opened, and nothing has EVER come between me and a free meal.

And all this time I thought I was the wind beneath your wings. Seriously though, drove Towne Rd. today for the first time and noticed that nice big sign at the Voldemort's driveway. Then I remembered an email I read long ago:

" As I have said in the past, the county does not allow private signs on county right of way. My best suggestion remains to put a sign above your gate but what you do about a sign is up to you as long as it is not in county right of way."

Then as I was heading home I noticed the JKT Cemetery sign on the shoulder there by Jamestown Rd.

2010 was the start of NGO outside Pugetropolis.

The attack on colonizers started out quietly under the guise of "equity." At some point in 2012, I started hearing the repairing broken relationships and "acknowledging" I live and work on tribal lands stuff. It should have been investigated and eliminated right then and there. By 2012, the "integrate tribal priorities" started to take place. 2019 was the first I heard of reparations for colonization, right after all the equity branches of government had been established. It was obvious they set the equity branches up specifically to start getting reparations for colonization, using federal grant fund meant and titled for salmon ,floodplain, estuary restoration. It was all done using city county and state Duns numbers. Grant fraud on a grand scale. No way Congress appropriates grant money for civil rights violations against people who don't have color. They lied to get their hands on the money. Inflation reduction act, re-compete grant, estuary restoration grant, floodplain grant, watershed grant, salmon recovery grant, grants I have not found. One thing is for certain, is there is not a repair broken relationship grant, reparations for colonization grant, climate migrant displacement grant, climate grief grant, climate art grant, and more I have not found.

I hope and pray it's not just more b.s. but what a massive undertaking to bring Justice to any part of the corruption let alone all of it. The Why… for what reason or purpose. Personal challenge, a vendetta, a mania? The Captain Quige … I’m going for all of the above. Someone has built this entire playbook some time ago and it now has a life of its own. The rules of this game are well known. We’ve seen it played and played out. It’s how much you want to be dealt in that’s going to count. The game can be busted up. It’s just utilizing the resources we have. Heads together etc etc. who wants to go first?

Sovereign Nation status. A contract should be forth coming for the use of the USA's infrastructure for this sovereign nation since it operates outside of the "USA's guidelines", correct? The USA has given huge grants to "The Sovereign Nation" to build its huge financial base with tax relief and other perks. How many millions are necessary for the few hundred souls claiming sovereign nation status paid for with American citizen's dollars in grants? Really, when is enough of this charade enough? This "guilt" of American citizens of the USA is being played and abused for the benefit of a few who claim 2 different loyalties and sets of rules to influence our politicians and enrich themselves in my opinion. I am not against doing what is correct in the 21st century, but I cannot condone trying to change the past in order to benefit a few. Societies do what they do; how have we treated immigrants during the waves they arrived; how have we remedied slavery. Did we make Viet Nam go away, or Iraq, or Afghanistan, or WWII, or WWI etc. How do we treat legal Hispanics that work our fields, tend our yards, and do construction etc.? Mankind can be unfair through history; it is a fact you cannot buy your way out of.

Ever wonder how those 'investments' that make us so cozy turn a nice profit?

Ever look into what our money is doing in the world to give us wealth?

Well I don't personally have much money but I have profited by the actions of evil gov't actions and now I am paying a price in terms of awareness, massive inflation on a small fixed income, infrastructures failing, violence and looting, corruption at every level, it's VERY EXCITING or HORRIBLY CATASTROPHIC, maybe both at once! 🤪

We keep pretending it's all just short-sightedness and incompetence, which ARE factors but the truth is IT'S ALL PART OF A LONG TERM PLAN and it won't be fixed through what we have come to believe in as normal, legal, lawful means...we need logic and reason but we need to understand that the logic and reason of 'the controllers' is just as real and valid TO THEM as ours is to us. The Universal Energy... (what some call God) is allowed to be used to CREATE... for GOOD or EVIL. The SOURCE has allowed FREE WILL so EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE... and here on Earth we see EVERY POSSIBLE THING playing out...the only choice we have is how to interact with and relate to and act on WHAT IS SO...which can also be subjective...so you could say...this place IS INSANE...and us along with it... for even being here...OR we have been duped, tricked, captured by insanity...either way it's us that have to deal with it... Love, Truth, Justice, Liberty and Gratitude that we have an awakening community! 😎
