The story involving Janine Reed from Clallam County Health Department triggered a disturbing discovery of a plan to wipe out any population in the Dungeness region, what NOLT refers to as "colonization" is actually the land owners who were entitled rights under the Point no Point treaty of 1855. The two county multiple Meta Association ( NODC, PRTPO, NOPLE, NOLT, Strait Recovery Network, and others we have not yet discovered) planned to and did break the Point No Point Treaty. Our local leaders way back telegraphed the political pursuit of water and property in the Dungeness. In 2004, they complained about the water being "spoken for." But the real marching order came from ICLEI which wanted the NGO's to convert farmland to "open spaces." In 2010, the local NGO program ramped up on the Olympic Peninsula to accomplish the goal of crippling manufacturing and farming in America, under the guise of an environmental fallacy, which actually made things worse environmentally. The tribes and people of color were offered reparations trinkets if they joined in in exchange for reparations for colonization. That's what they did. They took out a dam and the biggest farming area, set up for perpetual farming on the Olympic Peninsula.. Its treason and a conspiracy to break treaties all across America. Then they planned on climate migration to the region, but not to the Dungeness valley, to the cities. Obedient populations that will need Democrats forever. We really need to band together to take out the NGO form of government and repair the damage before its too late.
I wish I was younger and wealthier to make an impact on this effort! These miserable meddling NGOs won't stop until we stop them. I will help, however feebly.
We do what we can. Thanks for caring. I try to refocus on the world I want instead of the world I see. Thoughts are powerful collectively. Trying to imagine a world of higher values and how that would look and feel. Still also to stand for truth in the here and now. This truly is an ongoing drama in the 3 dimensional world we appear to inhabit.
There is always 'more to the story'! Blessings to all.
Yep. That's how it's been played. How do we do this... since the infiltration and compromise of all our systems of due process/public input has been mostly accomplished?
Elected, appointed and hired agents are doing end-runs around our ethics, rules and constitutions. Ozias is only one of many...dereliction of duty and malfeasance are only two of the crimes he has committed. Conspiracy is alive and well...no need for theory.
The commissioners don't seem to take anything we say or show proof of seriously.
They don't care because they don't have to. No accountability. No board of ethics. How do we form one and empower it with authority to make positive change? Polite due process is getting pretty thin.😠😤🧐
Stick together here. Jeff is talented and even keeled. Look at his work on the titles. He should be naming every child in the village. When your in an organization that has to be dealt with by a local sheriff.... just for blogging... you know your striking nerves. Alone or in reduced numbers its easy to defeat opposition. The Republican party comes up short here. Gay people and pot smokers aren't allowed in the tent at least comfortably anyway. This site was a welcome site after experiencing next door's censoring embarrassment. Either leftists whacks or teflon pans.
Thanks John. Patience isn't my strongest suit. Appreciate your perspective.
'Know your enemies'. 'Pray for your enemies'. Recognize if we are our own worst enemy. School of hard knocks. I guess we love it at some level or we wouldn't be here.😳🤬🤪🤨🙂
Appreciate this article Jeff. We have certainly had the same concerns that were expressed by this fellow Land Trust donor in how donated monies are being spent, projects that aren’t completed as planned, and partnerships that might have ulterior motives. We are certainly supportive of conservation efforts when it comes to farmland and habitat, it would be a shame to see the Land Trust stray from its humble origins.
They are misguided morons, looking only at one narrow aspect of the situation, all else be damned. Salmon populations would not be in jeopardy if the Tribes didn't wantonly decimate the populations for profit. We need to force the Tribes to abide by the same laws that the rest of us do, else it is akin to allowing enclaves of terrorists wreak havoc on our society without any accountability. It's bullshit!
They get a share, but a commercial monopoly is not in Boldt, and totally violates anti trust laws on monopolies. The AG was satisfied getting bumps for the party rather than protect us. Time for them to revert back to traditional methods.

A couple of years ago I warned people about land trusts. They turned on me like a pack of wild wolves. I used general terms but NOLT was praised by everyone and I was the devil himself saying mean things about a benevolent group. How’s that going?
People in Sequim are vicious! Civility has disappeared from many of these conversations. I'm learning that the harsher they treat you, the closer you are to finding out what they don't want you to know.
Someday, Clallam County based newspapers need to share the truth and the whole truth. Currently, our two newspapers are politically skewed for our woke citizens only.
How can we hold our newspapers accountable for the misinformation and lack of inclusion towards conservative issues and events.
I find reading the local newspapers as informative as the back of a cereal box. Nothing is reported that could have two sides. No feathers will be ruffled . Maybe they got the wrong final score on a T ball game. Scandalous !

Nine either. I kick my hat and throw first base more than Lou Piniella.
We have our very own swamp to drain.

Mom was a big donor and believer in their values, I think she would echo your sentiment.
Found two really bad group. Look at all who is in this one. wacko's with hands on the regions wheel and handles. I am adding them to the list. https://nosc.org/board-of-directors/ and https://www.clallamcountymrc.org/about-us/

Nothing is as harsh as a ride on the NextDoor train to hell.
You only think you know how to write, they will prove you can’t and remove your post for being
Disrespectful! I was taken down for comment on dead roach ad I saw every time I opened ND.
Don’t disrespect roaches. So glad I know that now ….not!
