The county charter needs to be revised. It should prohibit any serving county commissioner from being a member of any other board or commission, or participating in any other organization that receives tax dollars directly or indirectly, including Clallam Transit, as well as any non-profits, charities, and NGOs, in or outside of Clallam County.

Furthermore, the charter should stipulate that commissioners shall not attend closed-door meetings with any sovereign dependent nation (tribe). All meetings concerning matters between a tribe and the county at any level must occur as an open public meeting on non-tribal property.

Time to rein in these cozy, under the table arrangements this cabal of commissioners enjoy.

There is no reason this event should not be "streaming". Our state has some of the WORST "sunshine laws" and the ones we have are not enforced for "local" government. None of our local governments have any ethics rules, and no repercussions for ethics violations. Its really back to the 1940's and 1950's here.

Yes, Charter Review should take this up.

This closed door meeting further demonstrates the lie that commissioners are pledged to transparency and interpreting the desires of all county residents. Commissioners seem to discriminate, prejudicially, in favor of those who benefit themselves rather than have an engaged public. The natives are getting restless

The moment that "we" (Americans) realize that we are being intentionally deceived by those in government we immediately need to ask ourselves what is really going on~! It is our most important & urgent duty~! Do these people in government and those working with our government have the proper legally required Individual bonds to indemnify them in case of "mistake", malfeasance, or criminal activities? Where is the proof of the registered oaths of office that are required for ALL of them to even hold office legitimately? Additionally, the SCOTUS just recently made an historic landmark decision referred to as "The Chevron Decision" which clearly stated that no ABC's or "governmental body or Individual/s in government" can make laws, regulations, or policy OR determine their application, except for and through the proper formal Constitutionally required legislative and judicial branches of government~! While the recent SCOTUS "Chevron Decision" primarily addressed the 40+ years of rogue unconstitutional federal agency crimes & abuses of the legal system against the will of Americans and also against their best interests, it would definitely also apply and extend to ALL Individual state, county, and city government agencies as well~! This would mean that all of these nasty underhanded "closed door meetings" would be considered instantly illegal, violations of the public trust, and absolutely prohibited if "we" (Americans) extend & apply the same Constitutional logic and reasoning to our own local government troublemakers who always seek to deprive us of our rights wherever we may live~! Anyone living in Washington state who believes that our elections are honest and legitimate, in light of the rampant election frauds being revealed all over the country AND the fact that no one in our state can even vote except through the dubious & problematic no ID required "mail in voting" system, is completely unaware of what has really been going on here. Are these so called "elected officials" even legitimately in office in the first place? If not, exactly who installed them and why? All Americans are constantly exposed to being financially audited, so why have "we" NEVER seen a single complete and open election audit? I love Washington state for all it naturally offers, the good folks here, and its tragically underused, underdeveloped, but tremendous social & economic potential, however we do need to do a far better job investigating and policing our own state (just as ALL other state residents across this wonderful country must now do)~! Past generations have completely failed to keep watchful eyes upon these kinds of government abuses and criminal shenanigans, however in reflection on all of the problems that we have witnessed at the hands of our own government here, we can no longer sit idlily by while our pleas and complaints about the corrupt government are completely ignored~! Any government that refuses to prove its legitimacy is definitely hiding its unconstitutional acts and crimes, especially in a government that is required by law to be responsive to the will of the legal residents~! Together we must stand for a far better Washington State and a government that ONLY serves ALL of the people here~!

I'll admit, other than hearing "Chevron decision" in the news, I had no idea what it meant. Thanks.

My pleasure Jeff~!

The fact that you have actually heard about The Chevron Decision is to your credit~! Interestingly, the "deep state" (the swamp) is working overtime to keep Americans from understanding The Chevron Decision or they are intentionally vilifying it because it has removed much of their evil power in one big, massive SCOTUS decision. The great Patriotic folks behind that landmark decision don't really want the general American population to really know much about it just yet either! So do look into it but be careful because the criminal powers who are intentionally working to destroy America are actively making The Chevron Decision sound ugly, just as they do to anything else that challenges their power. It is definitely not "ugly". In fact, if the average American realized what that decision actually meant there would be partying in the streets all over the US for weeks by Americans who love their country and their freedom~! That one Supreme Court decision did in fact remove the power of the corrupt bureaucrats so they can no longer arbitrarily determine how laws, regulations, and guidelines are to be treated & enforced as they have wrongly done for over 40 years. The "Big oppressive Government" received the death blow because of The Chevron Decision and as soon as "we" (America) has honorable Individuals of Goodwill in government they will have a tremendous tool to make sure that the criminals in government obey the Constitution and heed the will of the American people. Of course, the whole intent involves removing the criminals in government and criminally prosecuting them as well, but unfortunately these things do take time ;-) I do appreciate all of your efforts here in the Sequim area very much because I have been an American Constitutionalist for many years and that means that I must be more focused on the big picture of national concerns as a priority. It is wonderful to see good folks like you who are keeping an eye on the local communities all over the US, especially at this very serious time in history~! The Chevron Decision is also THE tool that "we" can use in our local communities all over the country to remove these bad actors in our local governments so that each community has the level of citizen input & control that make our communities strong. It is all about freedom~! Have a great evening and stay safe because there will be more difficult times ahead, before things get better. Good times are in fact ahead however... Sincerely, Mike

Very important decision, we need to look at how all the casino tribes recognition process was handled/mishandled by BIA/DOI.

Under the constitution only Congress has authority to recognize an Indian tribe. the 3 letter agencies are corrupt with power and I pray the Chevron decision will help with uncovering this as it now opens a way to get legal merit heard, if you have money for a lawyer that is.

That is very true Tom~! The problem is that these criminals in government and their co-conspirators have learned that if they continue to push their evil unconstitutional agendas that they plan in all of their closed-door meetings, paying little if any attention to the citizens' complaints, that they will get their way in the long run. It is not simple "bad faith" but it is the worst of faith humanly possible. The criminals simply stick to their corrupt agendas come Hell or high water, as they collect our tax money that they are so richly and generously paid (plus the "bonuses" that many are paid without the community learning/knowing about it), most of the time ignoring even court decisions or "repackaging" their evil agenda in the attempt to go around the courts and public outcry, basically daring the citizens to take any further actions. These criminal tactics have been going on all over the US now for a great many decades... It may take many years or even decades, but eventually these criminals push the good folks too far and there is the predictable violent outcome unless the criminals are removed and prosecuted for their crimes. As I am an American Constitutionalist, I understand this dynamic very well and my life is dedicated to averting violence and to find peaceful solutions that remove the power from the rogue bureaucrats and criminal politicians to return that power to the American folks where it truly belongs~! America is not now a democracy, nor has it ever been, we are a Republic and as soon as "we" refuse these rouge actors their power and take back our lawful Constitutional power our communities and country will definitely improve for the better~! Have a great week~! M

Good morning, Robert~! Thank you for the great & generous compliment! Ha! I do have to be honest and admit that it was my last brain cell that got ahead of my fingers that was responsible for the "rouge" VS rogue word~! Although God gave me a sense of humor that would definitely do that on purpose, it was a simple error this time ;-) MY humble admission... I am pleased that you found my words and Intent satisfactory, however. You are very correct in that our government has harbored a great many more low life criminals than good, decent, and honorable folks~! Enough is very much enough now, and ALL Americans need to understand the simple manipulative tactics that these criminals have been using to rob us of our free will. our money. and even more importantly our amazing lives of prosperity lost to them and their shady ways. I have been fighting this old fight for many decades now so it would be glorious to see the "shysters" removed from our government from top to bottom and all across this amazing land, but most importantly "we" need to now do better for the children and all future generations to come~! Yes, this evil bloodsucking matrix must now end, and absolute priority needs to now be focused on legal and lawful Americans finally having their life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness fully restored~! Yes, absolutely, "An armed society is a polite society" where good folks take full responsibility for their freedom, support the good folks in the Constitutional government, and the criminals are on notice should they be foolish enough to continue to commit their crimes~! I am sure that an Individual of common sense such as yourself would agree, like all good folks, violence is never something that "we" should wish because decent rational people never want that outcome. However, there are times when in defense of oneself, others, and country that the criminally minded fools leave good folks no other options. People of peace often times have great difficulties understanding the criminal minds, which really is understandable in itself, but Americans have now been tortured, pushed, prodded, deceived, and stolen from for many decades at the slick hands of those manipulators in government and other criminals at every level who have been entrenched into our society for a very long time. Tragically, crime in America has been allowed to pay for too long, so "we" (Americans) must now immediately adopt a "Zero Tolerance" attitude against anything and anyone who attempts to infringe upon our Constitutional freedoms, rights, and liberties~!

Be of good cheer Robert~! I know that right now, especially leading up to the most critical election in American history, that many evil criminal forces are inflicting great harm on all Americans to place them into their old tired "fear porn" matrix where they can easily be tricked, deceived and controlled. Americans must not fall for this simple ancient brainwashing technique any longer~! The climate (nature) is not coming to kill everyone, the cold & flu season is NOT a "pandemic" to worry about any more than it was 50 years ago, and the sky is NOT falling as these insane evil manipulators of humanity would have everyone believe~! In fact, believe it or not, one of the few real personal advantages from my life of shear Hell fighting against these criminals for many decades, is that these days I have an extraordinary well proven analytical ability AND some very high-level contacts who are close to the inside of the group of Patriots who are actually in charge of the forces of good (The Global Alliance White Hats). In short, "we" are winning this oldest of wars against America and humanity~! Most of what folks are seeing unfold in the "news" right now is primarily to wake up people who have ignored their most important duty to keep the government in line with The Constitution, fully transparent, and accountable for their actions (and inactions). This unfolding "news effort" is also intended to condition folks into understanding that the reality that they believe in, is in fact NOT the truth about their country, society, and world~! There will be a time ahead where a great many honest disclosures (truths) will be more publicly revealed, as the old dying evil matrix is eliminated, and the new Constitutional common law dynamic is revealed~! You have been, are, and will continue to witness the greatest period in history for all those who love and cherish their life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Expect the new Quantum level financial/economic system with 100% asset backed currency to roll out all across the globe, each sovereign nation to be restored to make the most of what they can contribute to their people and the world, a new higher level medical/healthcare matrix to replace the dying old corrupt Western medicine model, and the profit and control to be removed from the evil "war mongers" who have created a war like Hell on earth for countless decades~! Be patient, stay safe, healthy, well supplied, out of harm's way, and above all keep the faith because when the dust settles our country, and world will be absolutely amazing for all freedom loving Individuals~! All good thoughts my fellow American Patriot~! I am sorry to have been delayed responding to you, but we have many pressing duties here. We just do what we can to help folks at this most difficult time. We are in fact active in the community, so we are here until further notice! Ha! The next couple of days will be a challenge but we are expecting the next two to three months to be difficult, especially for Americans as "we" see just how things will be unfolding. For the past few decades, I have been monitoring and analyzing the problems that we have in the US (and world), and there is a decent chance that things will be improving in the not-so-distant future if everything goes well. Yes, we could go through a SHTF period of time, but I believe that the worst-case scenario will be unlikely, especially out here on the Peninsula. A lot of good folks out here have been coming together to help each other and that is absolutely perfect when adversity comes to any community. Most Americans are basically like-minded in matters that are the most important, and we have been seeing folks from all backgrounds now bringing in a new community Spirit that is absolutely awesome to see. We are sticking together ;-) We shall see how this election unfolds and what measures are taken to assure a more honest election process. When President Trump was still in office it was announced that Quantum level computing is in play, and that always means that it has been in play for a long time. Remember, The Space Force is very real and active ;-) Your suggestion of a "blockchain" solution to secure elections is more in play now than you may know. Additionally, there is a new worldwide Quantum level financial/economic system that is linked to Starlink that has already been put in place and it is just waiting for the right time to be revealed to the general public. This is also a 100% asset backed currency system for over 200 countries WITH CASH and no eating Z bugs~! Ha! So, things are probably not nearly as bad as the criminals in the media want everyone to believe ;-) I could go into great detail, and I do have some higher-level contacts, but the truth is that not many know what exactly will unfold or when it will happen. For the time being we need to stay well stocked up and as healthy as possible, because this is a world war that has been going on for a very long time. I do think that things are better than most currently believe, but we all need to play it safe and stay out of harm's way as much as possible~! Positive prayers are good!!! Have a great evening and do keep the faith~! M

"All Americans are constantly exposed to being financially audited, so why have "we" NEVER seen a single complete and open election audit?"

It's because our election system is unauditable. Ballots flood the U.S. Mail system, and are returned without chain of custody. We don't track how many ballots are undeliverable, how many come from the same address, how many from non-existent addresses, nor what happens to them after they are returned. Once the returned ballots are received, operatives can fill them out themselves, behind closed doors, and then slip them in among the legitimate ones. We also don't know how many ballots were not received by legitimate voters, nor how many were used for kindling or discarded.

A legal requirement to return every ballot, whether filled out or not, would be a step toward auditability. Then, there would be a record of NON-returned ballots, which should be minimal if penalties frighten people into compliance.

Another way would be to tie each ballot to a SSN to determine whether or not it was a legal ballot. Once that determination was made, the SSN would be stripped away and the ballot accepted. A third way would be to use blockchain technology and public key encryption, which would allow for the election HQ to verify that the ballot was returned only by the legitimate voter.

We can put a man on the moon and send space probes beyond our solar system, yet we can't have secure elections??? Gimme a break! It's that the politicians do not want it! They lose control of the outcome to the people if elections are secure.

Excellent article, Jeff, and a clever title indeed!

Our county government is corrupt. We must vote them out if the election process is not TOO corrupt, and change laws to prevent corruption in the future. They run roughshod over farmers' irrigation ditches citing evaporation loss, then promote a reservoir with the equivalent of 190 miles of irrigation ditches in surface area.

A town in Michigan recently fired their entire government, and starting anew. I wonder if we could do the same thing here. We could, if more than a handful got involved.

Vote for Jeff and Tom Ash who are running for the commission in District 1. Five people from each District comprise the commission.

CC has an Ethics code, https://clallam.county.codes/CCC/3.01.030

Unfortunately it's a watered down version of the original, which now has no investigative or enforcement component for non-criminal violations, which was redacted years ago.

Not only is it missing these crucial components, it also hasn't kept up with the changes in government. To wit, that a sitting commissioner can be the president of a NGO that receives money from the same county the commissioner is from. Even though Ozias has recused himself from the decisions to give his NGO money, there is no way to not believe that he's using "insider information" to maximize his organizations power. And I could go on.

CC's ethics code is so far behind other counties in this state that it's embarrassing. The Commissioners love to talk about how progressive and professional they and the county are, just not when it comes to holding themselves accountable.

I see only two ways, neither of which is likely to succeed at this moment in time.

1. A MASSIVE strike as Poland did in 1989 to oust the Communist government. If 50,000 of us surrounded the County building demanding the current government out, it would work. But, half of us are the compliant sheeple who get their news from the networks and Marxists newspapers, who would not go along. A city in Michigan recently fired their entire government. We could do that ONLY if we had the unity.

-- or --

2. An armed, bloody, country-ending revolt which would result in unfathomable carnage, destruction, and the end of the United State. Foreign governments would quickly step in and conquer worn out, war-torn, revolutionists.

So, that leaves Option 1, but how do we get enough people to strike?

NOI, I have been going over this in my mind for days now. #1 would be extremely effective but, yes half of us are mostly compliant because we aren't informed. Until I found this site, I had no idea of the serious nature of what is happening. Until our local newspapers jump in and spread the facts, most of us will stay compliant. The only other option I can think of, is to pay and take out an "ad?" or "a column?" in the local newspapers in order to crack open the door for those of us that are politically challenged. And that takes a coordinated effort by more than one person.
