Did you see our Trump caravan and rally today? We drove with flags, signs, and honking from QFC in Sequim to Lincoln Street in Port Angeles, then down 101 to Fat Smitty's, where we held a sign-waving rally. I don't know if it swayed people's voting, but we got more honks and thumbs up than the middle finger, about 3 or 4 to 1.
We have a handful of Marxists in our midst, a Marxist media, and a significant number of conservative people. A large portion in between the extremes is not interested in politics, would rather watch Survivor or the Marxist cackling hens on The View, than find out what's affecting their community, Our newspapers lean far left too. So, this large portion of people get their news from other liberals, the local papers, and the leftists talking heads on TV. So, when it comes time to vote, you know the results.
Jeff's effort here is going a long way to educate people, but we must do more. The mouth breathers that watch the above shows do not read Jeff's news, and they usually don't talk to conservatives (and vice versa). We need signs with short words and sound-bites that they can understand, and the ramifications of their votes made apparent. It's a real challenge because The leftists will tell them that we're "right wing extremists" and they'll believe it. End of story. It's truly sad what our public school system has done to our country.
To change the liberal status quo in our major elections we need to start way BEFORE this and canvas neighborhoods simply asking folks if they plan to vote. And if they are undecided, hand them something simple to read re: the dangerous downhill slide of Democrat leadership. And why THEIR vote counts.
